The designer, mother of five, and former model lives on Harbour Island in the Bahamas but travels globally in her role as a humanitarian. It’s this lifestyle, alongside her athletic routine, that forms a collection “designed for life”. More than just a study on fit and quality, the India Hicks X Sea Level collection is about making a statement. With plunging necklines and low scoop backs, the swimsuits exude an air of effortless allure, allowing you to embrace an inner confidence - you’ll feel empowered and irresistible in swimwear that embodies a sleek sexiness built around form and function.
“I was excited to discover Sea Level Australia, a sculpting sustainable swimwear brand designed for every body. Having lived by the beach for 30 years I know a thing or two about swimwear, so it wasn’t long before we were collaborating. I wanted more than just a swimsuit or bikini that could hold me in place, I wanted swimwear that was designed for life and could make me feel like I was part of a James Bond story.
Working closely with the Sea Level design team, India’s vision came together via a palette of Coconut, Gold and Black, enhanced with luxe accents and and contrast piping. Each piece within the capsule is meticulously crafted and designed to exude a cool kind of sexy beach elegance. From sleek one pieces finished with defining belts to form-flattering bikinis in shades of Coconut and Black, this line-up is all about confidence, shape, and sophistication.
Shot on Harbour Island, Bahamas, where Hicks’ calls home, this campaign is about marrying Sea Level’s brand of a perfectly structured shape and fit, with India’s timeless and modern aesthetic. Whilst teasing in higher shaping around the legs and lower backs, these styles dare every woman be their most authentic self.
